Helicon Hub LLC operates the Core Scoring Engine application available on the Shopify App Store. Our registered address is in, Wyoming, United States.

When you install Core via Shopify OAuth, we access the following data from your store:
Product data — titles, descriptions, images, pricing, variants, inventory levels, and collections
Page data — page content, structure, and metadata
Store metadata — store name, currency, domain, and configuration settings
Order and sales data — aggregate sales figures used solely to calculate revenue-at-risk estimates (we do not store individual customer records)
Account information — name and email address of the Shopify account holder
We do not collect or store your customers' personal data, payment information, or individual transaction records.
We use the data collected exclusively to:
Score your store across three pillars: Product Offer & Merchandising, Pages Design & Structure, and Customer Confidence & Checkout
Measure performance against defined scoring criteria and track changes over time
Identify gaps and generate prioritized recommendations on what to fix and in what order
Calculate revenue-at-risk estimates tied to each identified issue
Produce downloadable reports (PDF) reflecting your store's current scores
Run weekly automatic rescans to detect score changes as your store evolves
Send weekly summary emails showing your latest scores and top recommended actions
Operate and improve the Core Scoring Engine platform
Core does not make changes to your store. All actions remain entirely at the merchant's discretion. We do not use your store data to train machine learning or AI models. AI within Core is used solely to translate scoring outputs into plain-English recommendations.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we process your data under the following legal bases:
Contract performance — processing necessary to deliver the Core service you signed up for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Legitimate interests — service improvement, security, and fraud prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Consent — for marketing communications, which you may withdraw at any time
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We share data only with:
Shopify — as required to operate within the Shopify Partner ecosystem
Cloud infrastructure providers — for hosting and data storage (currently [e.g., AWS / GCP — specify yours]), under strict data processing agreements
AI inference providers — your product data may be processed by an LLM API (e.g., Anthropic) solely to generate plain-English recommendations; no data is retained or used for training by these providers under our agreements
Analytics tools — aggregate, anonymized usage data only
Legal authorities — only where required by law
Core is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the US, your data will be transferred to and processed in the US. For EEA/UK users, such transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission. By using Core, you consent to this transfer.
We retain your store data for as long as your account is active. Scoring history and trend data are retained to provide progress tracking over time. If you uninstall Core from your Shopify store, we will delete your store data within 30 days, unless we are required by law to retain it longer. You may request earlier deletion (see Section 9).
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Portability — request your data in a portable format
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
Restriction — request restriction of processing in certain circumstances
Withdraw consent — for any processing based on consent (e.g., marketing emails)
To exercise any right, email info@heliconhub.com. We will respond within 30 days. EEA/UK users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell
The right to delete personal information we hold about you
The right to opt out of the sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information

Core uses essential session cookies required to operate the application. We may use limited analytics cookies (anonymized) to understand how merchants use the platform. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings.
Core is a business tool intended for use by adults operating Shopify stores. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, contact us immediately at info@heliconhub.com
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify active users of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Core after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

By installing Core from the Shopify App Store or accessing any part of the service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. Core is a scoring, measurement, and recommendation tool — it does not modify your store. All decisions and actions remain yours.
• Core — Helicon Hub LLC, a Wyoming LLC, operator of the Core Scoring Engine
• Merchant — any individual or business that installs or uses Core via the Shopify App Store
• Free Preview — the no-cost, limited scan available to all installed merchants
• Full Access— the complete feature set unlocked upon payment of the one-time fee
• Service Plan — the recurring monthly subscription that provides ongoing Intelligence, reports, notifications, and updates
• Store Data — product, page, and sales data accessed from your Shopify store via OAuth
By installing Core, clicking "Agree," or using any feature of the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Core on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
Upon installation, all merchants receive a free, permanent preview scan at no cost. The Free Preview includes:
• Overall store score
• Revenue-at-risk estimate
• Three-pillar score breakdown (Product Offer & Merchandising, Pages Design & Structure, Customer Confidence & Checkout)
• Top 5 issues identified by name
The Free Preview is provided as-is, for informational purposes only. It does not include Intelligence-generated recommendations, per-product drill-down, downloadable reports, notifications, or ongoing updates. Core reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Free Preview at any time with reasonable notice.
Full Access is unlocked by a one-time payment of $299 (standard) or $199 (AppSumo early adopter pricing, where applicable). Full Access includes:
• Intelligence-generated fix recommendations
• Full per-product drill-down with score recovery and revenue uplift estimates
• Downloadable PDF reports
• Notifications and score updates
• Full AI service for the first 30 days following purchase
The one-time fee grants a perpetual licence to use the Core scoring and measurement engine. It does not include ongoing Intelligence Interpretation of the calculations, reports, or notifications beyond the first month — those require an active Service Plan (Section 5).
After the first 30 days, if the customer decides to activate the Service Plan, will continue to have access to Intelligence Interpretation of the calculations, downloadable reports, notifications, and platform updates:
• Standard: $19.99/month
• AppSumo early adopter: $14.99/month
The Service Plan is billed monthly through Shopify Billing. It renews automatically unless cancelled. Without an active Service Plan, the scoring engine continues to run, and raw scores remain visible, but Intelligence explanations, recommendations, reports, and notifications are suspended until the plan is reactivated.
You may cancel your Service Plan at any time from within your Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued.
The one-time Full Access fee of $299 (or applicable AppSumo price) is non-refundable once Customer Confidence & Checkout, Pages Design & Structure, and Product Offer & Merchandise drill down have been accessed and explained with the AI. This is because the core deliverable — scoring analysis, measurement data, and AI-generated recommendations — is consumed immediately upon access and cannot be returned.
If you have paid and have not yet accessed any Full Access features, you may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase by contacting info@heliconhub.com. Refund eligibility is assessed at our discretion.
Service Plan charges are non-refundable for the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.
All payments are processed through Shopify's billing infrastructure. By making a purchase, you also agree to Shopify's terms of service and payment terms. Core does not directly handle or store payment card information. Disputes related to billing must first be raised with us at info@heliconhub.com before initiating a chargeback.
Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Core grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for your own internal business purposes.
You may not:
• Resell, sublicence, or white-label Core or any output it produces
• Use Core to build a competing product or scoring methodology
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract Core's scoring logic, rules, or algorithms
• Use Core for any unlawful purpose or in violation of Shopify's platform policies
• Share account credentials or allow third parties to access Core under your account
Core scores, measures, and recommends. It does not implement changes, guarantee outcomes, or promise revenue increases. All recommendations are advisory. You are solely responsible for any changes made to your store and their consequences.
Scoring is based on rule-based analysis of your store data against defined criteria. Revenue-at-risk figures are estimates derived from industry benchmarks and your store's data — they are not guarantees of actual revenue impact. Core's AI layer translates scoring outputs into plain-English recommendations and does not constitute professional business, legal, or financial advice.
Core accesses your Shopify store data via Shopify OAuth solely to perform scoring, measurement, and recommendation functions. You grant Core permission to read product data, page data, store metadata, and aggregate sales data for this purpose. You may revoke this access at any time by uninstalling Core from your Shopify admin. Data handling is governed by our Privacy Policy.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Core may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. Planned maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for losses arising from temporary service unavailability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
• Core's total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Core in the 3 months preceding the claim
• Core is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, or loss of data
• Core is not liable for any decisions you make based on scoring outputs or AI recommendations
• Core is not liable for changes in Shopify's platform, APIs, or policies that affect the service
Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability — in those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Core is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that scoring outputs are error-free, complete, or suitable for any specific business decision.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Core, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Core at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the platform. Upon termination, your licence to use Core ceases immediately. Sections 9, 12, 13, and 14 survive termination.
You may terminate your use of Core at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Uninstallation cancels your Service Plan at the end of the current billing period.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA), conducted in English. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Core.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Core regarding the platform and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
